Poverty Simulation and Discussion

Poverty is a reality for many individuals and families in the communities we serve.  Unless poverty is experienced first-hand, it can be difficult to truly understand.  The Community Action Poverty Simulation bridges that gap from misconception to understanding.  This experience is designed to help participants begin to understand what it might be like to live in a typical low-income family trying to survive from month to month The Poverty Simulation is an interactive immersion experience.  It is a simulation, not a game.
